We had three fairly small electrical issues in our home, and when I found this company, I called and left a message. Colorado Electric and Control returned my call promptly and after I described our problems, they scheduled a day and time. Their electrician was Brandon and he most friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He repaired a nonworking outlet, installed a new outlet, and helped us with our remote-activated overhead light/fan in our den. Brandon was a delight and extremely helpful. In my experience, many companies will not take on smaller jobs, and others will not work on mobile home problems. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing electrical work.

Greg was extremely responsive, fitting me in. He didn't mind the maze of my house as he searched down and tested all outlets. Once he identified the problem, it was fixed instantly. Greg is personable, trustworthy and fair.

Brandon did an excellent job installing several new light fixtures and a stove hood light/fan. He went above and beyond by running to the store to buy a recessed light that he installed in my kitchen. He also gave suggestions and measurement to help me purchase the right stove hood. I will use them again in the future for other projects on my list.

Having called 5 other electricians and leaving voicemail for each of them, I then called Greg. I was stunned to talk to a real person especially since it was Saturday. After describing my problem to Greg, he agreed to come to my home to take a look. He showed up about 1 1/2 hours later as promised and immediately diagnosed and fixed my problem. Admittedly it was a simple problem, as well as a quick fix, but Greg charged me only half of the price he quoted me, which he didn't have to do. I am pleased to recommend him and have added him to my contacts as my first choice to call for electrical problems.

Greg did an outstanding job on my low-voltage wiring project (for a motorized window shade). He was on time, and spent the first several minutes rehashing and re-scoping ideas we had exchanged via email. He was thoroughly professional, yet very engaging. I really enjoyed his free exchange of information, and appreciated that he didn't waste time once we had a workable plan. Greg's pricing was up-front, fair, and honest. I wouldn't hesitate to call him for other electrical work I might need in the future; I highly recommend him.

We could not have been more satisfied with the services provided by Colorado Electric & Control. Not only was their estimate accurate but was timely and very competitive with all other estimates we received. This was an extensive home electrical project involving replacing a 50-year old panel, upgrading service, and installing an EV charger all while integrating with our existing home solar and battery system. In addition, when the city was dragging their feet, overcharging, and planning to significantly tear up our yard to run new service, Greg stepped up and offered to complete the trenching himself with minimal impact to our yard. I'm not an electrician but in my eyes all work was done to the highest quality and equally important with minimal impact to our schedule. As remote workers, we were especially satisfied that work involving disconnecting our power for an extended period was done over a weekend. We would highly recommend Colorado Electric for any residential electrical work. It's great to know we have a local connection now to handle any future needs we have and know we won't get ripped off or lose on quality. In my opinion, you can't go wrong!

I contacted Greg about several 'minor' electric jobs at my residential property, and unlike other larger local companies I contacted, he responded promptly. Greg was professional and thorough, providing information/options for me to consider when doing the estimate his pricing for the work was fair. When the jobs were scheduled, Greg purchased all the parts, arrived on time, performed the work efficiently, and explained how to operate what he installed.
